Overview

We are introducing multi-company management capabilities. This enables parent organizations to manage multiple sub-accounts with greater ease, better visibility, and stronger control.

Benefits of using MCM

  • Secure handling of data separation and sensitivity

  • Streamlined training and content management across accounts

  • Simplified performance improvement and reporting

  • Seamless SSO support across accounts

How does it work?

Description

Additional notes

1

Navigate to the company you need

Use the quick navigation option on the user options

You will see all the companies you can access

2

Make the changes/investigation in the child company

Limitations : Only users that have been defined as Multi-Company Admins will be able to navigate between companies.

NOTE :

  • Each child company can only belong to one parent.

  • Removing a child from its parent will revoke all inherited access.

  • The parent company still functions like any normal customer account and is counted in license usage.

  • A Multi-Company Admin is also an Admin on the parent company.

Parent-Child navigation in the platform

  • Once a user is defined as Multi-Company Admin, they can navigate between all sub-companies that were defined on their account.

Company switching example

Multi-Company admin in another company

  • A clear indication is shown to help the user understand they’re managing a sub-company.

  • To return to the parent account, the user will need to click on the “Stop” button.

    • No logins required, the user remains logged in at all times.

Limitations: A multi-company Admin, will have access to all sub-companies, there’s no way to set up

Troubleshooting

Scenario

Expected behavior

Notes

Parent admin can’t see a child company

Check role and company hierarchy

Must be explicitly assigned and part of the parent org

Switching companies logs user out

Likely SSO misconfiguration

Validate SCIM settings and default company

Q&A

  • Q: Are multi-company admins counted in license consumption?

    • A: No. Their activity is excluded.

  • Q: Can a parent company be used for training?

    • A: Yes. Parent companies retain full functional use.

  • Q: Can a child company become a parent later?

    • A: No. Each child can only belong to one parent and can’t become one.

  • Q: What if I manage my account with a SSO?

    • A: SSO for multi company management is possible. The important part is to make sure the Multi-Company Admins are navigated to the parent company.
