Overview

We are introducing multi-account management capabilities. This enables parent organizations to manage multiple sub-accounts with greater ease, better visibility, and stronger control.

Benefits of Using Multi-Account Management

  • Secure handling of data separation and sensitivity

  • Streamlined training and content management across accounts

  • Simplified performance improvement and reporting

  • Seamless SSO support across accounts

How does it work?

Description

Additional notes

1

Navigate to the account you need

Use the quick navigation option on the user options

You will see all the accounts you can access

2

Make the changes/investigation in the destination account

Manage content, users, or reporting in the destination account

According to permission

User Access and Permissions

Access to accounts is managed per user.

  • Admins on the parent account define which accounts each user can access

    • Users are assigned a role (Admin, Trainer, Course Creator, etc.)

    • A user may have access to one, multiple, or all accounts under the parent, with the any permission for each account.

  • Admins can also decide if a user should have any special permissions on the parent account or not.

Users with access to more than one account can switch between them using the account selector.

NOTE :

  • There is no separate “multi-account admin” role.

If a user has access to multiple accounts, they can navigate between those accounts.

Parent-Child navigation in the platform

Once a user has access to more than one account, they can navigate between all permitted sub-accounts.

Account switching example

Account switching

  • A clear indication shows which account you are currently managing

  • To return to the parent account, select the “Stop” option

  • No additional login is required when switching accounts

Copying Courses Between Accounts

Courses can be copied between accounts that belong to the same multi-account structure.

Supported copy paths

  • From a parent account to a sub-account

  • From a sub-account to the parent account

  • Between sub-accounts under the same parent

When copying a course

  • You can enter a name for the copied course

  • The copied course is created in Draft mode in the destination account

  • The original course is not affected

Limitations

  • Courses can only be copied within the same multi-account structure

  • Courses containing unsupported or deprecated tasks cannot be copied

Important Note

  • Each sub-account can belong to only one parent account

  • Removing a sub-account from its parent revokes inherited access

  • The parent account functions like any normal account and is counted in license usage

General Limitations

  • Users must have explicit access to an account to navigate to it

  • Per-account role differences are not supported

  • Users can access only the accounts they have been granted

Troubleshooting

Scenario

Expected behavior

Notes

Parent admin can’t see a sub-account

Check role and account access

User must be explicitly granted access

Switching accounts logs user out

Likely SSO misconfiguration

Validate SCIM settings and default company

Q&A

Q: Are users with access to multiple accounts counted in license consumption?

A: No. Their activity is excluded.

Q: Can a parent account be used for training?

A: Yes. Parent accounts retain full functional use.

Q: Can a sub-account become a parent later?

A: No. Each sub-account can belong to only one parent.

Q: What if I manage my account with SSO?

A: Multi-account management works with SSO. Users must be routed to the parent account and granted access to the appropriate sub-accounts.
