Overview
The Non-mandatory tasks feature enables course creators to mark specific tasks as non-mandatory, allowing trainees to complete courses without finishing these designated optional activities.
NOTE : The following task types cannot be marked as optional : Role - Play, Quiz, SCORM
How to mark courses as non-mandatory
During course creation, in the editor under "Collateral" , the toggle "Mandatory task" will be available under the following task types:

Video
Activating this toggle marks the task as non-mandatory for course completion requirements.
