Overview:

The AI Assistant for role-play creation simplifies and accelerates the process of generating role plays. By leveraging AI, course creators can easily create end-to-end role plays using resources they upload. The AI Assistant allows for content fine-tuning through an interactive chat interface, making it ideal for quickly creating customized and context-specific role play scenarios.

Why Use This Feature?

Course creators should use the AI Assistant if:

  • Time Efficiency: You don't want to spend a lot of time manually building role plays.

  • Available Data: You have relevant data resources (such as presentations, documents, or audio/video files) that you can provide to the AI to create accurate and tailored role plays quickly.

This feature is perfect for those who want to streamline the role-play creation process while ensuring the content is customized and relevant to the specific training needs.

Why Uploading Training Data at the Account Level?

  • Efficiency: Instead of uploading the same files multiple times, you can upload them once at the account level. These files will be used as the training data, making the AI Assistant smarter and more accurate over time. This reduces redundancy and streamlines the process.

What Training Data Should I Upload?

  • Relevant Company Data: Upload resources that contain your company's data, which is pertinent for role-play creation. This could include recorded calls, playbooks, marketing content, scripts, etc.

  • Supported File Formats:

    • pptx, pdf, txt, csv, mp4, wav, webm

  • Important Note: Avoid uploading sensitive data. Since the files uploaded to the account level will be available for course creators, be mindful of the content’s confidentiality.

Process Overview:

The role play creation process now involves the following main steps:

  1. Training Data Integration (New in Account Settings)

  2. AI Content Generation & Customization

  3. Review and Publish

Step 1: Training Data

To begin creating a role play with the AI Assistant, you need to first upload relevant training data at the account level. Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Account Settings:

    • Click on your name/avatar in the navigation bar at the bottom left corner of your screen.

    • Select Account Settings.

  2. Upload Training Data:

    • Go to the Training Data tab in the Account Settings page.

    • Click 'Upload Resources' and select the files you wish to upload. You can upload a combination of files (up to 20 files) in formats such as pptx, pdf, txt, csv, mp4, wav, and webm.

Once uploaded, these files will be used by the AI Assistant during role play creation, allowing for faster and smarter content generation.

Note: You can still upload files while using the AI Assistant. These files will only be available for the current role play creation session and will not be shared beyond that.

Step 2: AI Content Generation & Fine-Tuning

Once the resources are uploaded, the AI Assistant will use your company’s training data to generate an initial role-play scenario.

Find the AI Assistant:

  1. Navigate to Template Selections:

    • Click on the “Create new course” button located on the top right corner of the homepage.

    • Click “Add new task” and select the “Role-Play” option.

  2. Search for the AI Assistant Template:

    • On the Template Selections page, search for the template named “AI Assistant Creation”.

    • Select this template to begin the role-play creation process.

Working with the AI Assistant:

  1. Training Data:
The AI Assistant will automatically draw on the training data uploaded by Admins/Editors in the Training Data tab. If you upload additional files during the task creation process, the AI will integrate those files as well.

  2. Clarification Questions:
The AI Assistant will ask a series of clarification questions to better understand the context and specifics of the role-play you need. Answer these questions to guide the AI in tailoring the role play to your needs.

  3. Content Generation:
Based on your responses and the available training data, the AI Assistant will generate an initial version of the role-play scenario.

  4. Customization:
After the AI generates the content, you will have the opportunity to fine-tune the details of the role play through an interactive chat interface. You can adjust:

    • Dialogue

    • Objectives

    • Any other details to match your specific training goals.

  5. Skip Uploading Files:
If you do not wish to upload new files, you can proceed without uploading additional resources. The AI Assistant will still generate the role-play scenario based on the training data already available in your account.

Step 3: Review & Finalize

Once you’re satisfied with the AI-generated content, you can review and make any final adjustments:

  • Test the Role-Play:
At any point, click the 'Test Course' button to simulate the role play and assess how well it aligns with your expectations.

  • Approve Content:
When you are satisfied with the content, click "Approve Content" to continue. You will be directed to the Editor for further adjustments.

  • Editor:
After moving to the Editor, you can no longer return to the AI Assistant for further fine-tuning. Ensure everything is finalized before proceeding.

Key Notes:

  • File Uploads: Admins and Editors can upload files via the Training Data tab. Supported file formats include pptx, pdf, txt, csv, mp4, wav, webm, and more.

  • Clarification: The AI Assistant will ask for clarification during the process to ensure the generated content meets your needs.

  • Testing: You can test the role play before finalizing and approve content once satisfied.

  • Editor: Once you move to the editor, you can no longer return to the AI Assistant for further fine-tuning.

  • Template Selection: If you are unable to find the template, please contact [email protected] or your administrator.
